P2i Limited moves to Milton Park
P2i Limited, the nanoscale enhancer of products using its proprietary cold plasma Ion-MaskTM surface technology, has marked the new year by moving into brand new offices at Milton Park, Abingdon. The purpose-built 6,000 sq ft facility houses an airy open plan office space plus a dedicated clean room and processing suite.
“These are exciting times for P2i as we begin talking to potential partners for Ion-MaskTM enhancement,” explains P2i Chairman, Graham Hine. “Having carried out our initial development work in our laboratories at Porton Down, we now need to be closer to our customer base and where better than in the heart of the Thames Valley where so many leading edge technologies are based.”
P2i Limited was established in 2004 to commercialise super liquid-repellent treatments for the pharmaceutical, automotive and fashion industries. Developed by the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) and the University of Durham, P2i is the sole licensee of Dstl’s patents and is a joint venture between Dstl and Porton Capital.
